Singer-Songwriter JOSHUA HYSLOP Shares New EP; Announces EU Tour

Today, Canadian singer-songwriter Joshua Hyslop shares his new EP, Pines. The record was written and recorded during the height of the pandemic at the home he shares with his wife and their first child around the time of his birth. “It was a stressful time and there was a lot of anxiety and fear in the atmosphere around us,” reflects Josh. “I wanted to write something that didn’t deny the difficulties so many people were facing, but that also offered hope in the midst of it all.”
The record is the follow up to his fourth studio album, Ash & Stone [2020] and follows previous albums, Where The Mountain Meets the Valley [2012], In Deepest Blue [2015], and Echos [2018]—which had gathered over 270 million worldwide streams by 2020 and praise from the likes of American Songwriter, Earmilk, NPR, Exclaim!, and many more. At the start of 2020 he introduced four tracks from the new record on the Embers EP allowing single, “Behind The Light,” to accumulate over 10 million Spotify streams.
Josh is also excited to announce he will be returning to Europe in the Spring of 2022 for a tour supporting Canadian indie folk band Jon and Roy. See all dates below.
